Ok.... so today is Halloween... and I love giving away candy... mostly b/c I loved recieving candy when I was younger. So this year I even went out and bought real choclate (last year I bought Willy Wonka... cause I like it... but my brother pointed out that the cool houses give away choclate)
Anyway so I bought 3 bags of candy and they were finished all before 7pm (6:40PM to be precise)..... now the kids are ringing the door bell and knocking the door and I am sitting in here with the lights off and the curtains closed trying to ignore them. I'm so embarrassed... when I was a trick or treater I hated it when people ran out of candy and now I'M THAT PERSON. I'm the house that ran out of candy. I know I could run out to Walmart to get more candy but the damage is done... and I have work to finish.
On top of that... any child under the age of 5 was just the right height to get stuck in a overgrown the rose bush that we've been too lazy to prune and so I'd have to free them....finally I went out and cut it back
... I am such a bad mother to be.
Anyway... I know what you are all saying... there are 2 more pieces of candy left... but that is for my little baby.... so what if she is just a fetus... that doesn't mean she can't celebrate Halloween.
