This weekend was filled with a lot of yummy food. One small part of which was checking out Melting Pot for the first time ever..... wow... yum! As it was our first time we did the whole 4 course thing... I mean I knew it would be good really was delicious.
Another nice aspect of this was that in between the courses of our meal I was playing around with the camera. I am just getting into taking pictures so its good practice for me. Especially since the lighting in the restaurant was horrible and it let me learn how to adjust my camera to get more light.... at one point I figured out how to get more light in the picture than was actually in the room. Now to learn to keep my hand steady... I guess I do need to invest in a small portable tripod.
This is probably one of the better pictures..... yes... as you can tell we devoured the choclate.... and I was a little late getting a nice pretty picture of the Ying and Yang choclate fondue (you can also see the empty platters in the background (he he).
Oh well... I still have a lot to learn.. but was still fairly happy that I was able to sucessfully take a picture in the manual mode.
