Jen Starr Designs....

This is a rather shameless plug for one of my friends Jen Starr... but I'm really so happy for her. First a little on Jen....

I met Jen soon after I had started scrapping... up to that point I had a few scrappin buddies but was still a relative wanderer.... there was a crop in town and I decided to go and had no one to sit with... Jen had an opening at her table and so I joined her and her friends and the rest is history... they are now my regular scrappin buddies and I have a great time scrappin with them.

Jen is an artist by training and she's the type of person who just touches an ink pad to a piece of paper and it always looks good (I know rather sickening.... part of the reason why I don't ink as much b/c it doesn't always come out right). Anyway so it really fits her well that she was hired to be the Ranger design team coordinator... I mean the alcohol inks, color washes etc..... she really has a great hand at it. Here's a list of her class she mostly teaches in the tri state area but does travel a bit to teach.

Anyway..... so I was very excited to hear that Jen has her own paper line coming out a CHA this year.... Of course I love the Starr Brites collection b/c I am a blue and green scrapper but Jen's Jewels and Bangles are really very cool (the look even better in person). So I'm really excited for her. he he and now I can say... "I knew her way back when....."
