Why were you unsure .... you ask
well I felt that I really had no logical reason to blog... I toyed with the thought for a long time... well a really long time as its now been practically a year since I first established the blog. There were some other reasons but I won't go into them just yet... maybe later.
So what changed???
Hmmmm well the inspiration to actually restart blogging came from Cathy Z for those of you who don't know her... she is a "celeb scrapbooker" I'll let you go to her blog and click on her about me link instead of republishing her bio here. I follow her blog religiously.... then last October she closed down her blog.... really did miss it... but its ok... we've all got to do what we've got to do. Well low and behold she couldn't stay away for very long and yesterday she reentered the blogging world.
So how does that affect me....
I can't really say for sure... but something just clicked... when she said:
And when something cool came along, like when I discovered that Aveeno
Skin Relief lotion actually cured my 15-year-long Minnesota
tradition of really itchy shins, who could I tell? Dan? Yeah. As if he'd
really be excited about that.
So I thought to myself.... hmmmm why do I have to be so logical about this... why do I have to have a reason.
Well since this is "my paper trail"... I should leave you with some paper... the quote at the top is the first page of my scrap journal. This page below is a page from my scrap journal:
This is one of my favorite quotes... a great one for you "childless scrapbookers" like me. "I love being married it's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life. -Rita Rudner"
The quote block was my first attempt at digital scrapbooking (i.e. using photoshop)... I've gotten a fair bit better at it and have thought about recreating it but its a nice reminder of how far I've come.

I love that quote! And it's still true for people who do have kids. My husband is still my favorite person to annoy. Mostly because I've learned how to be good at it!
Your right there is no logical reason for you to be blogging...you should just quit now.....heheh :) j/k its about time. Now all I have to worry about is if you post more often then me....every 5 or 6 months or so...then I'll worry.
Welcome to blogging! It's very addictive and a lot of fun!
that is a great quote
